Hungary: a bidder's bonanza
Article Abstract:
Hungary has attracted direct foreign investment totalling around $12 billion since 1989, with privatisation revenues of just under $3 billion and total foreign investment of $4.5 billion in 1995 alone. German companies have been particularly active in Hungary, while UK companies have had only a limited presence there. UK concerns are most active in the advisory sector, with many law firms, investment banks and accounting firms establishing a presence in Hungary.

Pricing approaches in the construction industry
Article Abstract:
Contractors have to bid competitively for most of their work and at the same time deal with the risks and uncertainties connected with bid submission. This article examines the factors involved in tender pricing and how they interrelate. From this, a conceptual model of contractors' pricing strategy is developed.
