White Line dairy products in France
Article Abstract:
The healthy appeal of white line diary products means French households are the second largest consumers of chilled desserts, fromage frais and yogurts in Europe in 1999. Up to 85% of all white line dairy products are sold from supermarket stores, although this market share is being attacked by hard discount stores which are expected to increase their 11% share in the future. Innovative packaging is extending product lines for children's snacks, while more emphasis is being placed on natural, sugar-free products.
