The laptop shows its stuff
Article Abstract:
Pharmaceutical firms in Canada have been reliant on CD-ROM and laptop computer units to advertise products to doctors. Physicians are also accepting such devices into their everyday professional lives. Professional Studies Ltd. showed that 49% of general practitioners tapped into the Internet in the past month. This research also noted that 55% of cardiologists ventured online. In addition, 68% of oncologists ventured onto the Web during that time. One setback encountered is the lack of confidence of sales agents in using the electronic devices for demonstrations.
