High stakes in post - Tsunami Aceh
Article Abstract:
Aceh of Indonasia has got more international importance after the Indian Ocean Tsunami attack, whose victims constitute more than two third of the total. The foreign economic assistance aided by different countries has proved to be the largest relief efforts in the country. The relief funds exceeds $10 billion in cash donations other than debt relief and low interest loans, out of which a large portion of the global aid is channeled to Aceh.

The rebirth of Aceh
Article Abstract:
The reconstruction of Aceh, Indonesia after the Asian Tsunami in 2004 is discussed. The Indonesian government and foreign donors have provided $8 billion in aid. It is expected that the completion of these reconstruction efforts could help Aceh emerge as having the best trading infrastructure in the country.
