Article Abstract:
The number of immigrants who were escaping from China to Hong Kong reached some 450 a day and, despite the introduction of identification cards, the number of immigrants is putting a strain on Hong Kong's social system. There are also increased worries about the situation after Hong Kong reverts to China.
