In the service of fire
Article Abstract:
Dakon Nova (DN) (Krnov, Czech Republic), boiler manufacturer, wants to start the production of its boilers in Odesa, the Ukraine, and Krasnodar, Russia, in 1998. DN's turnover totalled 800 mil Kc in 1997 compared to 295 mil Kc in 1995 and 125 mil Kc in 1994. A reason for the growth was DN's co-operation with Unical (France/Italy). The co-operation has resulted in the production of the pendant hot-water boilers Dakon Dua, which were launched in 1995. DK purchased a licence to produce two types of the boilers Prexal and Triprexal from Unical in 1997. DN has set up trade companies for the sales of its products in Slovakia and the Ukraine. Besides, the firm exports to Poland, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Russia, Lithuania, Latvia and Kazakstan.
