Industria pide a Dasa, Aerospatiale y BAe que formalicen ofertas por Casa
Article Abstract:
The Spanish ministry of industry reportedly wants a formal offer for a strategic alliance with aeronautical engineering company Casa (Construcciones Aeronauticas) to be made by Aerospatiale of France, Dasa of Germany and BAe (British Aerospace) if, as stated publicly, they want a stake in the company. So far no official offers have been forthcoming although State Industrial Holdings company, Sepi, is in talks with the three groups. Dasa has been the most recent group to express interest in Casa, but its interest is unlikely to materialise according to sources in the sector, as its parent company Daimler Benz is in the throes of a merger with Chrysler of the US.
