Bristol and Cardiff: get a gold star
Article Abstract:
The corporate finance market in the cities of Bristol and Cardiff, UK, is buoyant and the regions are looking to future long-term prosperity. Bristol's location means that it covers a very wide geographical area, with deals ranging from the outskirts of Birmingham to the north and Cornwall to the west. The Welsh market, centered on Cardiff, is more localised and has an insular attitude towards investment opportunities. The two main players servicing both markets are NatWest Ventures and 3i. An analysis of the Bristol and Cardiff acquisition markets is presented.
