In the air
Article Abstract:
The Italian government wants foreign airlines to use Malpensa airport instead of Linate airport. Foreign airlines claim that this gives Alitalia an unfair advantage, since Linate airport is closer to the city of Milan. The European Commission is likely to announce that the Italian government is breaking European law by this move. There have also been delays in preparing road links and other aspects of Malpensa airport, which will further inconvenience foreign airlines.
