U.S. comments fuel concern among officials in Taipei
Article Abstract:

Recent comments by US officials have implied that Taiwan is a province of China and does not deserve independence. China's growing economy also serve as another inducement for the US to grant concessions to China, which may, in turn, jeopardize Taiwan.
