Interrelationships among the elements of national innovation systems: a statistical evaluation
Article Abstract:
A study has been conducted to develop a comprehensive National Innovative System (NIS) model through the identification of both elements which characterize a country's NIS, the variables used to measure these elements and the interrelationships embedded in each individual system. Findings indicate that substantial commonalities exist among the basic elements of the various NISs, notwithstanding the large differences in technology development strategies that exist across countries and the wide disparity in the stages of development of the surveyed countries.

Measuring sectoral productivity across time and across countries
Article Abstract:
A study has been conducted to examine the evolution of productivity growth rates in manufacturing and services for various industrialized countries during the 1970s and 1980s. The Malmquist productivity index was used as the primary tool of analysis since it allows for the possible estimation of the level of productive efficiency of each of the surveyed countries and determines constant return to scale and growth rates in total factor productivity into various sources of growth.

On the interaction between indirect cost allocations and the firm's objectives
Article Abstract:
A relationship has been established with regards to a company's objective and its allocation of indirect costs. An institution, such as the Defense Depart, has the right to divert indirect costs from one division to another if it sees that such action would rightly serve the institution's overall objective. Such act also greatly contributes to the company's ability to create allocation-related solutions that are not necessarily found in the core.
