Prettify it, or get rid of it?
Article Abstract:
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking to revitalize public housing, and has carried out a number of reforms such as increased autonomy for local housing bodies. Hope VI is a project geared to the worst developments which seeks to set up developments on a smaller scale with transportation links. Residents are evicted if they are involved in criminal activity, which leads to questions about where they will go to. Residents of HOPE VI are also encouraged to return to paid employment. New homes are to be built at Osage Hills, Tusla, Oklahoma, as part of this project.

A hydra in the desert
Article Abstract:
Arizona has grown rapidly and has built irrigation projects and dams to ensure a water supply. Phoenix has shown especially rapid growth, which has affected both the suburbs and the city center. People have been attracted by hi-tech companies and the population is relatively young. There are no natural barriers to growth such as mountains, and Arizona has light regulations. Environmental fears do not appear to be a concern, and both the desert and water supply appear ample for further expansion.
