Jungle stuff
Article Abstract:
Fur has become important in fashion collections in France in 1999, and there are a number of explanations for this. It does not appear plausible that fur outfits have been created in response to the anti-fur movement, or that it represents a move back to nature. Ready to wear designers have already used furs in previous shows. The couture designers see fur as soft, light and warm, and the usage of fur may be linked to designers remembering the pleasure that fur can give in cold weather.
