KPN and DoCo Mo may join Huchison in wireless effort
Article Abstract:
This article discusses the plans of KPN N.V. of the Netherlands and NTT DoCoMo Inc. of Japan to join forces with Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. of Hong Kong in seeking wireless services licenses in several European countries. Because KPN is considered to lack the financial clout to bid alone for European licenses, it has entered into negotiations with Hutchison and DoCoMo.
