CARTOON NETWORK TO GO HINDI
Article Abstract:
Cartoon Network (CN) has signed pacts with Crest Communications (CC) and Sound and Vision (SV) for offering Hindi programmes to its viewers. This move is aimed at increasing its viewership in India. Under the pact, both CC and SV will produce 166 hours of dubbed software. The animation division of Warner Brothers will be coordinating and supervising the dubbing of programmes. CN will be offering a 2-hour Hindi version of cartoons between 3 pm and 5 pm every day from January 4, 1999. On weekends, the Hindi feeds will be between 1 pm and 3 pm. (ag)

NPIL, HMR MAY TIE UP FOR CO-MARKETING

Hoechst Marion Roussel (HMR) and Nicholas Piramal India Ltd (NPIL) are likely to announce a co-marketing tie-up in the next few weeks. The tie-up will involve jointly marketing four Hoechst molecules under two sets of names. The molecules include an advanced anti-diabetes formulation, an anti-infective and an insulin product. (khr)
