The seven nations bordering the Arctic Ocean have formed an alliance. The countries are Canada, the US, Iceland, Sweden, Russia, Norway and Denmark, which owns Greenland. Finland also joined. Historical disputes over Arctic waters, environmental policy and trade are discussed.

A quick fix on ozone
Article Abstract:
Over 90 nations met to revamp the time table for phasing out use of chlorofluorocarbons and other chemicals which deplete the ozone layer. Rich nations agreed to help fund developing countries as they convert but nations are still divided on some issues.
