Khnopff's strange, silent world goes on display
Article Abstract:
The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium have re-created a substantial portion of the Belgian painter, Fernand Khnopff's symbolist dream world, assembling two hundred sixty-five paintings, drawings, sculptures, illustrations, graphics and doctored photographs, along with a handful of works by other artists who played a role in his life. Some of his paintings and styling are discussed.
