Kokanee brews up fans in the U.S
Article Abstract:
Labatt Brewing Co Ltd has reported increasing sales for its Kokanee beer brand in the US. The company said that sales in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska jumped by an average of 60% in 1998, although advertising for the brand is minimal. The beer, which is brewed through Columbia Brewery in Creston, British Coumbia, is targeted at the 24-to32-yr-old market in the US, compared to the 19 t0 29 in British Columbia.
