Article Abstract:
Former US President Ronald Reagan and Philippines President-elect Joseph Estrada have many similarities including previous acting careers. They have little understanding of globalization, economics, and have had a basic education. Estrada and Reagan were backed by powerful political and economical individuals who are more skilled.

Steady Eddy's impressive legacy
Article Abstract:
President of the Philippines Fidel Ramos has furthered the development and prospects of the former Spanish and American colony more than any other leader from 1950-1998. Ramos was considered a moderate in the Ferdinand Marcos military hierarchy and tried to work for reform from within. He had a reputation for incorruptibility.
