La Senza has second Web coming
Article Abstract:
Lingerie maker La Senza has unveiled an improved version of its Web site after solving glitches, including frequent site crashes. The original Web site had an erratic zoom feature for product shots while online orders disappeared mysteriously from the system. La Senza was so disappointed with the original Web site that it has decided to sue Integrated Communications & Entertainment, which made the site. The second Web site was created using in-house resources.

Net merchants luring small refugees
Article Abstract:
Several Canadian online retailers have launched advertising campaigns to boost their sales for the 2000 holiday season. For instance, TheShoppingChannel.com has launched a newspaper campaign to promote its Alex and Zoe Toy Store, sent catalogs to one million homes, and started to air 10-second radio tags. Excite.ca, on the other hand, offers product review videos for the merchandise it sells and has a contest with a Volvo S60 sedan as the major prize.
