The Thomas Neal's office, housing and shopping complex in Covent Garden, London, England has been designed to conform with the surrounding Victorian buildings. The complex includes a theatre, flats and maisonettes as well as offices and shops. It combines existing Victorian and Georgian buildings with a new internal atrium structure. The historical significance of the site is emphasised by the financing of an archaeological excavation before construction began and the architects' consideration for the preservation of the area.
