Jordanian special forces blaze a trail with modified motorcycle
Article Abstract:
Rokon Inc and the King Adbullah Design and Development Bureau in Apr 2000 signed a cooperation agreement for the development of heavy-duty, dual- wheel-drive, off-road motorcycles, called AB23 Desert Rangers, for Jordan as well as other countries in the Middle East and North Africa. Before the formal acceptance of the motorcycles, which is scheduled in Mar 2001, an initial set of four Trail-Blazer motorcycles was supplied by Rokon to allow users to commence trials and evaluation.

Ukraine unveils 120mm smoothbore T-72
Article Abstract:
The Ukrainian Kharkiv Morozov Machinebuilding Design Bureau (KMDV) has introduced prototypes of its T-72-120 tank. The T-72 features a NATO-type 120mm smoothbore gun which fires fixed ammunition. The KMDV is continuing the development of 120mm ordnance in cooperation with the Ukrainian State Scientific Research Centre for Artillery System Development. The T-72's gun breech can accommodate 125mm and 140mm tubes if necessary.
