Many people are having to deal with economic uncertainty in their lives for the first time. Economic insecurity has always been around, but it is now effecting more classes of people. Solutions suggested by labor ministers of the leading economies include state supported job retraining and labor deregulation.

Learning to fly all over again
Article Abstract:
Airlines are no longer able to provide the same level of service as they did several years ago because of increased competition and declining business travel. Airlines must find new ways to attract passengers at higher fares. Some new airlines in Asia are seeing growth.

Skinner's experiments with rats and pigeons in boxes were designed to measure learning and behavior modification. His work differed significantly from Ivan Pavlov's. Despite criticism from peers, Skinner made important contributions to his field.
