Lehman net is buoyed by bond operations

Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. of the United States posted a 4.2 percent increase in third quarter net income to $916 million from $879 million last year. Revenues were due to strong performance in bond operations and impressive stock-trading. The strong revenue report has sent stock prices higher.
