Linde Technoplyn is awarded a contract by Unipetrol
Article Abstract:
Linde Technoplyn (LT) (Prague, Czech Republic), industrial gases company, has been awarded a contract by Unipetrol (Kralupy nad Vltavou, Czech Republic). By 2003 LT will build an air separation unit at Unipetrol's subsidiary Kaucuk (Kralupy nad Vltavou, Czech Republic). After completion the unit will deliver oxygen, nitrogen and pressed air to Kaucuk and Ceska rafinerska (Litvinov, Czech Republic) and will produce liquefied gases for all the Czech market. LT will also take over equipment for the processing of raw carbon dioxide into pure from Unipetrol's subsidiary Chemopetrol (Litvinov, Czech Republic). LT will invest CEK 1 bil in the projects. The company originated in 1990 when the concern Linde Gas (Germany) bought Technoplyn (Prague, Czech Republic). Until 2000 Linde Gas invested more than CEK 8.7 bil in the Czech Republic, including an investment in Aga Gas CR (Prague, Czech Republic) it acquired in 2000. In 2000 LT saw a profit of CEK 461 mil.

Linde Technoplyn (LT) (Prague, Czech Republic), technical gas producer and supplier, invested 5 bil Kc in 1991-1997. The firm has become one of the world's most advanced firms in the field due to the investment. LT's acetylene filling plant in Plzen, the Czech Republic, is one of its most important investments. The firm has also modernised its plant in Prague, which produces special gases, acetylene, packs various technical gases and icludes laboratories. LT's distribution network, which is the largest in the Czech Republic, includes 200 warehouses. LT was set up by the connection of the concern Linde (Germany) and Technoplyn (Czech Republic) in 1991.

Linde Technoplyn in Trinec
Article Abstract:
Linde Technoplyn (LP) (Trinec, Czech Republic), industrial gas producer, will increase its co-operation with the metallurgy firm Trinecke zelezarny (TZ) (Trinec, Czech Republic) from 2000. According to a contract arranged on 14 June 2000, LP will take over another two units at TZ, air separation and oxygen production units. LP, which will invest over 500 mil Kc in TZ, will ensure all the supplies of industrial gas to TZ. The co-operation of LP and TZ was started in 1991, when LP installed oxygen liquefying equipment and argon purification equipment at TZ. The production capacity of the equipment, which can flexibly react to TZ's demand, is 1.7 mil cu mt of argon per year.
