Lobby in Europe helps sway law on terror funding
Article Abstract:
The European Union Parliament in an attempt to tighten financial-crime laws as an antiterrorism measure has been watered down. European regulators are allowed to hold simultaneous executive positions in business and European Parliament members are allowed to accept unlimited private funds, being required to name only their source but not the amount.

Airlines that use European Union airports will be required to compensate passengers for inconveniences including, overbooking, canceled flights or long delays under new European Union legislation.
