Looking good
Article Abstract:
Analog computers have a number of advantages in terms of computing power, efficiency and size, though they lack the simplicity and flexibility of digital machines. Cellular non-linear (CNN) networks are a development that makes analog computers more flexible. The CNN Universal Machine allows the programming of CNN chips so that many tasks involving image-processing can be carried out. Leon Chua from University of California, Berkeley, invented CNN chip, while Tamas Roska from the Hungarian Academy of Science developed the CNN Universal Machine.

Article Abstract:
Computer emulation allows old-fashioned software to be run on new computers by providing a familiar environment. There are simple types of emulators such as interpreters, and more comple types, such as just-in-time compilers. Dynamic recompiling emulators can analyse new codes and boost efficiency by translating clumsier sections again. Companies involved in this activity include Connectix, which has produced a Virtual Game Station, and Transmeta and teraGen, which appear to be working with hardware to produce emulators.
