The Bryce 3D Landscape Generator version 4.0 is sold for 179 pounds sterling, with the upgrade from the version 3.0 costing 70 pounds sterling. It provides a good basic application for landscape modelling but also includes sufficient tools for professional usage. The version 4.0 allows the user to introduce several different environmental effects. Control over lighting has been increased for version 4.0. The models can be animated and raytraced. Photoshop plug-ins can be used to improve 2D texture maps. The application has been designed by MetaCreations.
