With the recent purchase of Avid Media, Transcontinental Media acquired four consumer titles, including Outdoor Canada, Canada Gardening, Canadian, Home Workshop and Canadian Home & Country. Outdoor Canada, which is a hunting, fishing and heritage sports title, will add to the list of magazines that the organization is catering exclusively for the male audience.

LEOreal sponsored Canadian Idol attracted a viewer ship of 3.6 million. LEOreal used ad integration during the show and got maximum exposure for its product range and boosted sales by more than 20%. Looking at the response Canadian Idol is slated for a comeback.
