More questionable arrests by Norway, but Svalbard stocks remain healthy
Article Abstract:
Norway's Coast Guard has arrested two trawlers, one of which is a Spanish trawler for illegal fishing in the Svalbard area. The arrest has created an argument between Norway and Spain over the managing rights of the region. Norway however is very firm on its stand and has termed the arrest 'fair.'

Tanker watchman jailed for deaths
Article Abstract:
Ronnie Zape, the Norwegian Bow Eagle's watch officer, has been sentenced for failure to assist crew members of the Cistude, after the Bow Eagle collided with the French trawler. The collision killed 4 crew members of the Cistude.
