Multi - role boat for new Canadien fisheries
Article Abstract:
The fishing family of Port de Grave, Newfoundland, Edmund Porter and Marion Porter have christened their new fishing boat as Ashton and Cody. The areas fisheries have turned to prawns, crabs and monkfish as the cod stocks have depleted. The new boat is capable of handling multi species fishing is named after the Porter's grandchildren.

Skipsteknisk AS, a Norwegian fishing vessel consultant has designed a new steel hulled fishing vessel for South Africa. Details of this new design, which was displayed at the Fish Africa 2005 show in Cape Town, are presented.
