Research is presented concerning the determination of the consistency of a model which has been developed to analyze multiperson decision-making problems. The multiplicative preference model is discussed.

Some issues on consistency of fuzzy preference relations
Article Abstract:
A new characterization of the consistency property as defined by the additive transitivity property of the fuzzy preference relations is presented. A similar study of consistency for the case of multiplicative preference relations is also developed.
