Nailing the war criminals
Article Abstract:
An investigation is to start into war crimes in Kosovo, Yugoslavia, where upwards of 10,000 Kosovars may have been killed since the commencement of bombing by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The International Criminal Tribunal of the United Nations imposes strict legal standards, and there are difficulties in recording evidence when relatives wish to bury their dead and there are mines and other dangers. Investigators are arriving in Kosovo where sites are being secured and not even relatives are allowed access.
