Nature of the relationship between international expansion and performance: the case of emerging market firms
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to establish the relationship between international expansion and financial performance of internationally expanding companies in India. The study also tests for the shape of the internationalization-performance curve for emerging market firms. Results show that service sector firms gain the positive benefits of internationalization earlier than manufacturing companies.
