Netherlands: Mudcrawler stops dredging activities
Article Abstract:
The Mudcrawler (cobitis taenia), a protected breed of fish, stopped dredging activities near Ochten, the Netherlands after being discovered by a passing police officer. The dredging activities were part of the work on the Betuwe line, the freight rail line. The discovery may take three months to clear up, however this will not cause delay as work will begin on the viaduct instead.
