Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Olli-Pekka Kallavuo, Nokia Corp. of Finland is planning to commute to the United States for one week of every month to oversee United States operations. The United States cell phone market has been troubled and the company is hoping for a turnaround. Mr. Kallavuo succeeded Jorma Ollila in June 2006.
