New York's musical chairs
Article Abstract:
Hillary Clinton is to decide whether to compete against Rudy Giuliani for the New York Senate seat that Daniel Patrick Moynihan has vacated. She is under pressure to compete, and could become a good senator since she is articulate. She also appear to be smarter than her husband, but she could be identified with his administration. Giuliani is more experienced in dealing with the press and has made new York a safer place to live, work and travel in. Hillary Clinton may have to move away from her liberal policies if she is to attract New York voters, and this would involve behaving more like her husband.

The First Lady's second change
Article Abstract:
Hillary Clinton is campaigning to become New York's senator and is starting to distance herself from the policies of her husband, President Bill Clinton. She has made some political mistakes, but is also a good public speaker, and is well organized. She lacks Bill Clintons' ability to deal with moral ambiguity, and also lacks his human touch. Bill Clinton has benefited from his partnership with his wife, but she has to develop her career alone, though the two have skills that complement each other.
