No rescue for Enron
Article Abstract:
Enron is suing Dynegy for $10 billion, alleging breach of contract in connection with Dynegy's termination of a proposed merger with Enron. Dynegy had ended the merger talks after Standard and Poor's reduced Enron's stock to junk status. In the suit, Enron is asking the court to declare that Dynegy does not have the right to option to acquire an Enron subsidiary that indirectly owns Northern Natural Gas Pipeline.
