On to the 100-yen dollar?
Article Abstract:
The dollar dropped to an all-time low of 105 yen to the dollar on Jun 14, 1993, but then rose again to 120.9 yen to the dollar. The prospect of the 100 yen dollar does not seem impossible. Lower dollar rates mean increased US trade to Japan and better trade relations.

What a week
Article Abstract:
The US need not worry unduly about the decline of the dollar in the short term because there are certain advantages to being able to pay one's debts with a currency one controls. Europe should avoid devaluating its currency.
