The two biggest shopping centers owners and managers in Canada, with a combined total annual foot traffic of 210 million-410 million people have launched programs for promoting products and services within their malls. Cadillac Fairview Corp has signed a major exclusivity deal with Pepsi-Cola Canada Beverages of Mississauga, Ontario, and is creating multilevel marketing packages. Meanwhile, Cambridge Shopping Centres Ltd has developed a mall marketing and sponsorship program and signed Pepsi as its first partner.

PJ DDB shines at Ad & Design show

Palmer Jarvis DDB, based in Vancouver, Canada, took home a total of 41 Gold, Silver and Merit prizes at the Advertising & Design Club of Canada's Directions '98 awards show in Toronto, Canada, on Oct 22, 1998. Most of the awards won by the agency were Silvers and Merits. The company also won the most Golds among nominees: one each in the Newspaper Campaign and Transit Single categories for its TV12 work, and another in the Advertising Miscellaneous for Bugaboos Eyewear.
