Pond's, a leading cosmetics company, has launched a new interactive programme on July 1, 1998. Its website, which became operative a few weeks ago, has about 40 hits per day. The website is applicable for India as skin condition in the region tends to be different. In its interactive programme, it has introduced quiz programme to upgrade general knowledge about skin care. The company has installed touch screens in prestigious supermarkets to create awareness about skin care. The company's products have 150 million users in India. (gs)

The Emami group plans to launch a new range of ayurvedic cosmetics under the Just Nature brand. The new products include cleansing milk, anti-dandruff shampoo and nourishing hair oil.
