Paribas executive leaves job in wake of takeover fight

Philippe Wahl has departed Paribas SA as a senior manager and has joined Caisse Nationale des Caisses d'Epargne as its director-general. The departure of Mr. Wahl represents yet another loss for the bank in its executive levels. Paribas was recently engaged in a takeover battle with Societe Generale SA and Banque Nationale de Paris SA. Mr. Wahl was a major presence on Paribas's board of directors.

For Julius Baer's next chairman, continuity is name of the game

Credit Lyonnais head says he will resign
