Article Abstract:
Investing in Russia during its developmental stage, starting in 1992, has been hampered by lack of certainty, guidance, coherence, and continuity, with burdensome procedures and intra-political bickering. These bureaucratic and political hinderances affect the establishment, maintenance, and taxation of businesses, but investment in Russian markets is potentially lucrative. Information regarding potential tax barriers is provided.
