The US-based IFA and investment broker Edward Jones, has announced that it is to enter the UK pensions and life assurance market. Regulatory approval has been granted. Between 1998-2003 the company intends to open up to 400 high street offices throughout the UK. Some 40 of these will be operative by the end of 1998 and 125 by the end of 1999. *
