PepsiCo's New Age soft drink brand rolls into France
Article Abstract:
PepsiCo believes that there will be strong demand in France for its new Radical Fruit Company range of New Age fruit-based soft drinks. Cola drinks are not as popular in France as elsewhere, but other US soft drink trends have also not been particularly successful there. The New Age drinks have already been launched in Spain, and PepsiCo expects to sell 36 million lt there in 1995.

The re-election of Boris Yeltsin as Russian President has pleased western marketers, on the grounds that it improves stability. According to Daniel Leis of Macro International market research and consulting company, the number of western marketers in Russia is expected to grow. Communist leader Gennady Zyuganov was defeated by 13% points in Russia's first free and open election.
