Article Abstract:
French production of baby foods and cereal products, excluding milks, comes to 79,000-80,000 t a year, with total domestic and export deliveries of baby foods and powdered milks valued at 3,431 million French francs in 1994. The market includes a wide range of products, and there is particular growth in products for older children, aged one to three years. This 'juniorisation' of products and the launch of innovative products are behind the estimated 7% growth in the market for strained foods and baby juices in the first half of 1995.
