Article Abstract:

Lilley's paper of Jul 9, 1993, contends that too much is being spent on social security in the UK. Special mention was made of disability benefits, and housing cost for single parents. The cost will continue to rise to the year 2000. Welfare dependency was also targetted by the secretary.
