Robin Hood Multifoods has rolled out its own Web site, created by Ogilvy & Mather's interactive division in Toronto. The site offers hundreds of searchable recipes and a baker's forum where baking tips can be exchanged among users. The flour manufacturer will use the site to collect consumer data when bakers sign on the site, in turn mailing them coupons or new recipes. The site is geared towards enthusiastic bakers, which is seen as the most effective way of building relationships with this group of consumers.
