Planning for safe and secure communities: The social reconstruction of antisocial behavior
Article Abstract:
The implications for land use planning of the social reconstruction of antisocial behavior, drawing upon the particular legislative and policy context of the United Kingdom, together with a synthesis of the wider literature are considered. It is argued that a social constructivist analytical framework for approaching antisocial behavior would better serve to provide a more holistic and enlightened understanding to inform planning theory and practice.
