Portugal to sell 39% stake in its ailing flag carrier

The government of Portugal will sell off a minority share of TAP Air Portugal to SAirGroup. The government will sell 39% of TAP for 31 billion escudos (154.6 million euros).

SAir Group agrees to buy 42% stake in Portugalia

SAir Group announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire a minority share of 42% in Portugalia, a regional airline operating in Portugal. The deal increases SAir Group's presence in the Iberian Peninsula. SAir is the parent company of Swissair. The deal is also part of a larger purchase of an 80% share with other companies based in Portugal. It is believed that the operation in its entirety is worth 160 million Swiss francs (99.7 million euros).

Poland, SAir, sign airline deal
Article Abstract:
A 10% share of LOT, the national airline of Poland, has been acquired by SAirGroup for $33.7 million (32.4 million euros). Swiss-based SAirGroup has also agreed to implement a market capitalization of $150 million of LOT. This will increase its share in LOT to 37.6%.
